Heaven's Nursery
In Heaven there must surely be
A special place, a nursery
Where 'little spirits' not fully grown
Go to live in their Heavenly home.
The angels must attend with love
Tiny spirits on wings of doves,
The choir of angels must sing lullabies
Maybe quieten their tiny cries.
The Father must come by each day
To cuddle and play in a special way
These tiny spirits left earth to soon
Little ones called Home from just after the womb.
These sparks of life did not perish
But came to the Father's love to cherish,
To grow and be taught in His own arms
Safely away from all earthly harm.
The comforter was sent to earth at once
To the parents who lost their little one
Their hearts so ache, their arms feel empty
The question 'why' seems so tempting.
Then all at once in the midst of tears
There comes a peace that stills the fears
The parents share the Father's own need
To hold their tiny spirit being.
They relinquish their own desperate hold
And release their baby to the Father's fold,
Then comes an angel to whisper the truth
Of a nursery in Heaven bearing rich fruit.
Of tiny spirits chosen to worship the Father
A place that couldn't be filled by another,
Called to be spared from the struggles of earth,
Chosen to be one of Heaven's births.
So Father, whisper words of love from me
To our little little angel in your nursery.

When God turns on the lights at night,
He looks down to make sure,
We've enough light 'till the morning,
And if he thinks that we need more.

He adds another star or two,
From his little store,
And when they need replacing,
He reaches down for more.

The stars are all his babies,
He's taken from below,
He doesn't tell us which are ours,
We never ever know.

So if you find you have a chance,
No matter where you are,
Look up at the sky tonight,
It's got a brand new star.

Stringing wishes along the line
When I watch children pass me by
It lifts my spirit and makes me fly

Wishful dreams weren’t meant to last
Oh bleeding heart can’t bear the pain
As shattered hopes creep up again
In the darkness tears will flow
Mournful memories just won’t go
My little baby had earned his wings
And left me staring at empty things

Sounds of comfort so pain will stop

*♥* Angels in the Sky *♥*

We do not know
Why babies are called home.
Only one knows,
God alone.

They arrive safely
At the gate of everlasting life.
Lovingly they are ushered in,
To the land with no more strife.

They enter into "forever"
Where they will never grow old.
There they will live in a place of beauty
Where streets are paved with marble and gold.

They become the Holy One's angels,
Receiving shiny new halos that glow.
They are adorned with strong new wings
And with angelic white robes that flow.

These angels shine up the sun
To new brilliance each day.
They put tails on puppies, whiskers on kittens.
They put colourful wings on butterflies, as they play.

Baby angels put sparkle into every moonbeam,
They mix soft colours for the rainbow,
They add glitter to the stars to make them gleam,
Brining joy wherever they go.

They tend God's sacred garden of flowers
And nurture them with loving care.
In the creator's presence they wile away the hours,
In this place called heaven - a land so fair.

On warm days they stir up a gentle breeze,
At dusk they give rise to a colourful new moon,
When tired, they rest on the Father's knees,
As they watch a new butterfly rise from its cocoon.

Angels teach spiders how to build a web,
They put new leaves and blossoms on trees,
They show thunder how to get our attention,
They paint black and yellow striped on bumblebees.
At Christmas angels create star shaped snowflakes,
They give flying creatures their wings,
They mix special paint for majestic sunsets,
Angels are tasked with many great things.

All these Precious Babies
Are angels in the land of perfect peace,
The place we know as "paradise",
Where eternal beauty and goodness never cease.

Our precious ones are learning to fly,
As new angels up in the sky,
We will always remember our angels with love,
As they watch over and guide us from up above

I was given an angel,
To cherish and love,
So tiny, so perfect,
A gift from above.
When I looked at his face
It was calmness I found,
And that peace seemed to spread
To all he was around.
His love touched my heart
Like fine threads of spun gold,
And I’d thank God for giving
This angel to hold.
But I did not know then
That time was my foe,
And too soon, with a whisper,
My angel did go.
My heart almost breaking,
A touch soft as lace
Seemed to wipe at the hurt
As it coursed down my face.
I still have my angel
To cherish and love,
Those gold threads now shimmer
From Heaven above.
And though I can’t see him
Or cuddle him tight,
I won’t say goodbye,
Little Angel, goodnight.

In Your Heavenly Castle in the Sky

Way up in heavens garden
There's a magical castle in the sky
Where god places our little angels,
And teaches them to fly

The girls become sweet princesses,
And dance the day away
The boys are charming prince's
In this wondrous land of play

The castle is made of lollipops
And of all things that are sweet
There's a river made of angels tears,
For them to dip their tiny feet,

They are tears of joy
To see such sights is happiness
For the chosen Angel girl or boy

Are picked to grace this castle in the sky
Only the tiny cherub prince's and princesses,
And here's the reason why

God has a place for all he takes
And puts them where they he deems
The little cherubs need a world of play
A land filled full of dreams

And slide down rainbows so bright
swing from the stars if they desire
Then light the star lamps up at night

Its now they huddle close together
And some may take a snooze
Only if they wish to
Its up to them to choose

The ones that are not asleep
Are sending down their love
To you, direct from moon beams
They guide from up above

So be happy for your special cherub
From the soft clouds they will never fall
For anything good that they may wish for
Comes true here, anything at all

until its their turn to open the castle gate
and its their mummy that they find

Little Angel - by Unknown Author

God sent an Angel to the Earth...
The sweetest Angel too
And for such a tiny little thing,
He had so much to do.

He knew he did not have
Much time upon this earth to stay,
So he did not waste a second;
He got started right away.

His eyes were bright and sparkly,
He took in every turn.
He did not miss a single thing,
Because Angel came to learn!

God sent him here to touch the
Hearts of those he could not reach...
He taught them courage, strength and faith,
Because Angel came to teach.

His tiny little body
Was so full of God above,
You felt it when you held him,
Because Callum came to love.

In a few short months he managed
What many never will.
When he went home to Jesus,
His purpose was fulfilled.

He learned and taught, loved and played,
He learned his lessons well.
I know he was so proud of him
When he went home to dwell.

But when I miss him OH-SO-MUCH,
I can almost hear God say,
Please understand, his work was done...
Callum did not come to stay.

Special Little Spirit - by Unknown Author

"You're a Special Little Spirit," the all great Master said,
As he gently caressed the hair of the Little Spirit's Head.
"You need to go to Earth to spend some time, you know,
A place I send most Spirits to be tested, to learn, to grow.


The Little Spirit, in sadness, slowly bowed his head,
And from his eye a tear did steal and down his cheek it shed.
"Don't you fret now little one, I won't let you stay too long,
I'll bring you back to help me here, you'll hardly know you've been gone.
You're my choicest Little Spirit, you're the apple of my eye."
And he wiped the tear and gently kissed His Little Spirit good-bye.


"I'm back," the Little Spirit whispered, as he climbed onto his Master's knee,
And the Master said, "I told you, you would not be long away from me."
And then, the Lord, He noticed still another tear welled in his eye.
"Why are you so sad, Little Spirit, whatever should make you cry?"

"I'm glad I'm back," the Spirit said, "but Master you must surely know,
When your Angel came to get me, I didn't want to go.
I know you said you needed me and that I'd be gone the shortest while,
But Lord, couldn't I have had a little longer earthly trial?"


The Master let the Little Spirit slip down from His knee,
He firmly took the little hand and said, "come walk with me."
The Little Spirit and his Lord walked slowly hand in hand,
As the Master explained His special part in the great and marvellous plan.

"Now Lord, I don't mean to argue, I understand you need me home.
But I left in such a hurry, I left everyone hurting and so alone.
I didn't let my earthly parents know how much I loved them so.
I was much too small to tell them, Lord, how will they ever know?
They feel they've been cheated, and in a way so do I.
Not getting to share any more than we did, how can I ever tell them why?"

"Little Spirit, I know your heart is heavy with the message you need to share.
But you need not worry anymore, I'll watch over your loved ones there.
I'll send them loving comfort as a strong and helping hand.
I'll content and give peace to their aching hearts, so they will understand.


The Little Spirit looked up at his Master and said "thank you for explaining it to me.
And could you please tell them I'm safe and happy and that someday they'll be here with me."

"Yes," said the Lord with a smile and a nod, "I'll tell them all that I can."
Then the others came to see the Little Spirit, as the Lord let go of his hand.
He said, "I'll tell them you're pure, as pure as Heaven's gold,
That I needed the warmth of your perfect soul to keep Heaven from getting cold."

Dear God,
Please love my Angel that dwells with you above,
Please hug him for me tightly with your precious, tender love,
Dear God,
Please sing him lullabys as he lay`s down to sleep,
Please comfort him and just be there if he should ever weep.
Please let him know I love him and wish I understood
The reason he`s in Heaven, please tell him to be good.
Are fluffy clouds his pillows, to lay his head at night?
And do the stars just twinkle to give him little light?
Will you watch him oh so carefully and always hold his hand?
And answer all the questions that a child can't understand?
Do you tell him all about me, does he know just who I am?
Is he with my family, my Nana and his Dad?
God,
do you ever pick them up and sit them on your knee?
And rock them oh so gently if they ever cry for me?
God,
does he play with children's toys in Heaven up above?
I have so many questions Lord,
I want to understand
Just why my little Angel is up there, was his life planned?
I dwell down here and feel like we're a thousand miles apart,
Please help me God, please hear my plea, Just mend this broken heart!
